Two oil pan questions:

1. What is the part number for a Magnum CAR oil pan?

2. Would there be any problem using this in an A body?

3. What type of baffling has proved effective with a 6,000 rpm stroker?

I've had a leaking POS Milodon for years, and would like to use the new style pan and gasket. I run 5.5 qts in the Milodon without issues as it is,as I found putting the prescibed 7 qts in that pan put the counterweights in the oil....

I'm all ears!

I looked a couple months back for one and never found one. I ended up using just an old la oil pan and got it to seal up.

I'll find out from my dealer tomorrow. I'm thinking about using a Magnum car pan. I'm not sure if the MP one that is listed is an old or new style.

There is no magnum car pan, they only came in trucks.

Use the LA 360 car pan.

Thanks Gary, I just found that out...I am going to mod an LA pan for use with the one piece gasket. A little mod + RTV looks like it will work well.

Had the Kevko and returned it. I wasn't happy with the construction quality. When side by side with the Milodon, it wasn't that much of a depth difference. Still sticks out of the K. Besides, it couldn't be installed with the motor in the car.
