Here's a conversation starter. http://www.ohiocrank.com/attaboy.htmlHalf way down Super Pro winning Cuda. Start with an AAR Cuda scoop, could be forward or rear facing however you desire of feel strongly about. I perfer this over the Chevy scoops.

Bruce Lagory, ran NMCA N/A class. Won multiple championships. Had a 500in B-1 motor with my old MC heads. Car was sold a couple years ago, have no idea where it is now.

Now that is a nice looking ride. Hard to imagine that a factory scoop would make that car look any better.

There was a late model camaro sporting a small block Mopar that continueously hurt the efforts of the yellow Barracuda. Bruce killed the class the first year then he and the camaro that I say again was sporting a small block Mopar not a chevy. Chris Fairchild has that SB engine now with a different head. The class folded up and the engine is on it's third owner Chris now.
I agree with Fred shape of the rear part of Cowl has something to do with performance. I need to seal mine off and redirect air from grill area. It's just a lot of work considering I am busy putting engine and tranny back together for Columbus.
