As mainly a street car, I would just stick with foot braking the car for now. That's what I and many others do.

This and your converter won't cut it with a trans brake. Trans brakes are really race only items and completely unnecessary for the street. The transmission also should be built around a brake.

Some will dissagree with this, but my suggestion is to get the roll control, and install it into your rear brakes. You can lock them out and footbrake the front to do your burnout. Then, lock them in, and use the back brakes to launch off of with the button (I think your finger on a button is going to be quicker than your foot on a brake pedal).

Its not, I've tried it. And you can't powerbrake the car as hard when only 2 wheels are holding the car, rather than 4 with the pedal.

well if i went with a roll control what i figured id do is activate it and i guess id have to try it before to see when the rear wheels started to spin mark the tach and then if im at the track or red light hehe just hit the button and go. I tried power brakin but the car still wants to lunge forward and im afraid at the track im gonna trip the light.

You should be able to get more RPM on the line where the sticky stuff is than anywhere on the street or in the pits.

Use the line lock for your burnouts right now.Use the brake pedal to stall the car up on the line and adjust rpm accordingly to get the reaction time you need.Don't anticipate that third yellow too much.Good luck.

any decent track is night & day from the street! Many cars that go up in smoke on the street, won't even be ABLE to break the tires loose at a well prepped track.
