A line lock is almost a must have
to heat the slicks .

Rear discs ONLY, such as a dragster, or a car with 4 wheel discs?

Yes I am.

If your class allows them I would put one in. Makes it much easier to do the burn out. I would also recomnend a 2 or 3 step so the revs don't get a way from you. I had that happen to me and was lucky it just cost me a couple rockers.

If you plan on installing a T brake any time in the future get the 3 step. It can be used a s a 2 step untill you need the 3rd chip.

Why would it be harder to do a burn out... put the
line lock on the front brakes, pump the pedal a couple
of times and hold it then hit the button.... the rears
will be free to spin

I think he was refering to doing the burn w/o the line lock being harder.

Get a lock and a 3 step and have a ball

Well there are plenty of guys that do their burn out
without the line lock... hit the throttle good and it'll
spin... but I prefer the line lock(and yes I have 4 wheel
disc)
