Yeh , i know the wiper motor is not stock ....
But it was nos ..
You should see the door handles .. But they were nos.
and i gotta do somethin different with the rad ..

Its not hi gear reduced , hope it spins
it up -- clears everything !

Everything is a challenge to find or is monetarily expensive lately ..


- custom fab rad $500-1200 champion or bouchillon
- clutch safety switch vs neutral safety switch
- column key lock spring missing from rebuild - no availability.

I guess not items that will stop from a start test . But nevertheless, time consuming ....

Due to Corona Virus slowing things down and some luck
Im finally repaying attention to the Winchester car

Since last posts Ive traded my beautiful Gtx for a cat.
Fuel injected my roadrunner
Restroked my stroker for my bee
Dealt with typical after 50 issues and a
Couple other speedbumps —

This car might actually be ready for 1972 reunion.

About three years ago I met a guy with vast custom car experience to put the headliner in
It was missing parts for the sunroof
Things were vague, but without a lot of reference pics , we gathered enough info to get rerolling.

Moving the car from one location to another while
under restoration is never recommended. Lol.

I thought I had all the stuff neatly wrapped up in the
trunk, guess again .

But after two nights of scouring through piles of
hoarding at home , i found everything .

Am lucky enough to have found the guy
who grew up with these cars And who is Real
Connected to cool car history.

His stories of building CanAM cars ,
Being involved with the TranS AM series
Hanging out with Gurney , Posey, Paul Newman
Brock Yates and others was a weekend thing
for him .. The stories are wild And real.

Im thankful that a great Mopar friend referred
me to him. Hopefully we can get glass in this thing
and go drifting soon ..

The headliner and sunroof have stumped me for years
but its all falling into place .

It sucks to find out after 10-12 years you have the
wROng sunroof motor ..

A bracket that is supposed to hold the switch in place
mysteriously was removed when the original
motor burnt up ..

No big deal for my guy Glenn.
He fabbed up a new one in no time and
is not intimidated by this job .
