I got my 1.12" FFI torsion bars in. Totally fixed the rubbing issue with the back tires. That's right, the stiffer torsion bars stopped the back tires from rubbing. Its easier to believe when you consider I went from 0.67" /6 bars (87 lbs/inch) to 1.12" (270 lbs/ich) bars. Its a completely different car now. Whats even better is I havent noticed any increase in harsh ride. If your running a BB b-body these bars are a must have!

I am keeping the /6 bars though, just in case I start drag racing more than cruising.

Are the Edelbrock IAS shocks on par with the QA1, Koni an Billstein versions?

NO! NO NO!

Other than on the front of a late b body 73 & up the eddys are a poor choice. A shock is supposed to be a dampener not a helper spring. The eddys act like helper springs and when they get hot they "porpoise" just like the kybs.

Could we please have a handling forum??? I get tired of repeating myself.

Why were edelbrocks a good choice on the late B-body? Or was it the only choice?

The oil pan is the lock. Basically, until I have the time to pull the pan and modify it I don't turn the wheel to the lock (oil pan). I just have to be picky about where I drive and park. Yes it's a pain, but it will be fixed soon.

I've already settled on Bilstiens. They fit my total package plans the best. Just waiting for funds.

I second that on the handling forum. This is one of the most informative forums but it needs more organization.
