The driver's side ran down under the headers (excuse pic quality!)...

I pulled what was left off the driver's side and ran 'em under the pass side manifold here; I'd originally just had the wires for the front two holes going this way, and the rear 2 along the valve cover rail, over and thru the stock bracket...

Here you can see a) the bags sticking out from under the air cleaners to keep crap out of the carbs, and b) the ignition coil mounted to the bracket on the pass side of the intake manifold (hard to see, but the regulator is just above and behind it on the same bracket).
Will post up pics of the burnt wires once Jenny brings the camera cable.
