...and then Baby Bear says "someone's been sitting in MY chair, and broke it!!"
Here I am, innocently surfing moparts while watching the tube with the evetS family, when I recline back a bit further, and Further, and FURTHER. Azz over teakettle goes me, much to the merriment of the family.
Turns out a bolt had given up the ghost on this nearly new (18 years is just a small stitch in time, right?) recliner. One new bolt later, and I am back in business. I think someone LARGER than I sitting in my chair is to blame. Can't decide if this "Goldilocks" is my wife's Chihuahua or my son (who I outweigh by about 75 pounds).
That's my story, and I'll be sticking to it (once it's perfected).
I hope after such a mysterious adventure you were able to sit down and relax.
And by the way...did you inspect the bolt for why it failed? Perhaps rust? Was your chair used in a salty environment lately?
(Such as eating on it. )

In keeping with my recent Glacier LandŽ theme park, I added a new ride today to join the roller coaster and bumper cars
One slight tweak needed

The bolt sheared right under the head. But it wasn't under lateral/shearing forces - the load was along the length of it. Too much stretching, I guess.
Down to just a blue car now.

Who doesn't like a nice Flume ride?
They gave you the front seat.
Silly me...I forgot Smite is the best seat in the house..

And Flume-smite is still even with the upfront seating.
There's a lack of Flume representation on the net, I'm just trying to rectify that.
Just doing your civic duty ?
So much for a fun time at the water park.
Perhaps a nice time at Club 0° to relax after.....
Oh wait
