I am planning on swapping the rear discs out for drum brakes.

Should I get rid of the mastercylinder and power brake booster also?

I have the 11.75 disc mopar upgrade up front so if I go with the 11 inch drums out back will that cause problems?

Are the parking brake cables the same for 11 inch drums and 10 inch drum cars for 68-70 B-body?

And are 11 inch drum parts available over the counter at parts stores?

If you have some tips for the swap and know something that I may be overlooking please chime in.

Curious: If you have rear disks why would you want to go back to drums?

Dude your throwing in the towel!.....what happened?......why would you want to go back to drum brakes,....what happens when you do, and you still find your having difficulty bleeding the brakes?....then what?

Drum brakes or not, the booster is still going to be a problem with 9 inches of vacumm.......

I don't understand, I thought you were "that" close to solving the bleeding problem,....did you try bleeding them off the car as suggested?

Mike

Well,I havent given up just yet. Please see my other thread as I plugged the MC for the rear brakes and I just bled the fronts and got a hard pedal! I feel that is a small victory!

Now I know there is only the air in the rear brakes that I cannot get out!
