2 battery's and a 78 amp alt for me. I loved the switch to two batteries . No more fear that it wouldn't start after running the cooling fan in the staging lanes.

So far all the testing I`ve done , one yellow top and a 75 Amp West Coast Electric alt. We`ll see how this lasts up after some hot laps. Chryco

1 red top battery and a 100 amp alternator.

I threw in one of these 78 pound Odyssey beasts and had a 75 amp alternator rewound to put out 100 amps.

Hope this isn't a hijack or too dumb...but...all I've ever run is one red top and no alternator (charge between rounds)...how do you wire two batteries in?

2 batteries with an alternator because I don't want to take a chance of going dead in staging lanes.
