I have the number matching 727 for my restoration and I am going to rebuild the trans, but what about the stock converter? It is unknown, but is the original one. Do most people rebuild these? are they rebuildable? I would like to use it if I can. Thanks.

They are rebuildable and you will save a lot of money by having it freshened because you will not have to buy a new case. Call Lenny at Ultimate Converter Concepts he can fix you up. Number is in my sig.
