If you want firecores, call Nick at Nicks classic parts. He's a board sponsor, good guy and his shipping is less than going direct to firecore.

Firecore has a special for wires going on. Not sure how long it will last but the wires I got are the HEI cap, pro fit 8 mm wires for $65 plus shipping from Nick.

racerx, do you have a radio in the car?
if so firecores will give you noise, if not firecores are a nice wire, personally i run taylor 409's or msd's, they were selling msd on amazon for $45.00 brand new.

Thanks guys. I would suggest the 8.5mm. There is more RFI/EFI shielding than the 8mm FireCore50. We could next day air them on Monday. Everything is closed today. Sorry. We do have a dealer in Missouri, but he only stocks BAE Hemi, BB Chevy and some LS 1 sets. Sorry again. As Chris suggested, the 8mm is more of a racewire, As thick of a core as the 8.5mm , but minimal shielding. Still a great wire, especially with the sale. If you need an 8mm solid black racewire, and radio-friendly, we came out with our FireCore250. Low ohms and EMI suppression. Best of both worlds. For racecars with radio's.. But Not these kind of radios.

If you HAVE to get a set by Tuesday, and your nearest raceshop has Moroso Ultra 40's, thats the next-best-thing. Then the MSD's. The Taylors should be for show cars only.. Pretty colors

I run the Taylor 10.4 Thunder Volt 50 wires on my dragster. They seem to work well and they are BIG!!!

I dont know about show cars.My 440 has had the same set for at least 10 years and the kids 300 for 4.They still work like new.Even with big headers they hold up.Ill buy another set as I have them on 5 cars and no problems ever.Even have a set made up for our Harleys.Rocky

Another vote for Firecores! Last year at the Nats, Rick actually helped put them on my car and 1 year later, they still work great. I don't have a radio though, so I can't speak of any noise as I prefer listening to 496 cubic inches.

Thanks for the post's guys. We are very happy to offer a product that so many like and offer something that so many say makes a difference. Thanks, and the sale is still going. Switching everything over to either 250 ohm for the street, or 8.5 mm 50 ohm for the street/strip. We now have our wires on 5 out of 6 of Schumacher Racing's team vehicles..

It's not a race car, but I ordered a set for my 98 RAM V10, wanting to replace the 100K mile old Mopar replacements I had on there. GREAT wires, perfect (and I mean PERFECT...) fit with all of the stock looms/seperators, smoooother idle better throttle response AND 0.9 better mpg averaging three tanks before and three after the install!

Glad I ordered mine before you became "plug wire guru" to the stars...LOL! Soon they'll be on all fuel cars, those guys are more monkey-see-monkey-do than...well...monkeys! Congrats!

The firecores fit very nice on my car, "max wedge" (hey-it has a cross ram; close enough) with indy -1's and tti's.

Thats cool. We can make a custom boot/tube for that shroud. Route the wires around the back to the distributor if you like, or how you have it.. Cool pic.
