I have a steel 68 barracuda fastback with this combo. 4.56 gears, 28-10.5 slicks, torqueflite with manual valve body, 3800 converter, 408 stroker with 10.5-1 compression (approx), Crane cam solid lifter flat tappet, 248-258 at .050, 540-560 lift, Edelbrock heads with 1000 bucks of porting, Edelbrock RPM air gap dual plane manifold with 800 holley double pumper. The car does 1.63, 60 ft times and the best it has ever run is 7.25 at 94.5 in the eighth mile. Usually it runs low 7.3's. I am thinking about changing to maybe an Edelbrock victor single plane intake. I know it reduces the low end and my 60ft isn't that great, but do you think it would help my over all et. Any other ideas?
