I installed a 4bbl Holley 570 carb on my 318(originally 2bbl). I bought Holley p/n 20-7 and 20-36 since the manual said I would need it for a Chrysler application. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-20-7/ and http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-20-36/ The kickdown doesn't seem right. Does anyone have a pic of the kickdown linkage on a 4bbl carb? I drove it around and it wasn't shifting correctly. Any help would be appreciated. Paul

Yes the bracket that bolts to the intake is a physicly different piece that puts the pivot and linkage in a different position on a 2 barrel rather than a 4 barrel.

Basicly all you need is that bracket itself. you can reuse the rest of the linkage parts. I might be able to dig up an example of both to show you the difference.
I also believe the 4 barrel one is reproduced. Mancini Racing sells them if I remember correctly.

I checked with Mancini and they have a bracket but I already bought what the manual recommended(Holley p/n20-7 and stud 20-36) I would like to use the one that I bought but If i have to I will get Mancini's bracket.

I just did the same swap almost, but I used an Eddy carb instead.

I found a four barrel braket at the junk yard.

two barrel on the left and 4 barl on the right, it is almost the same but about 3/8" taller. However, my kickdown linkage was still about 2" inches short.

note how the pivot shaft is not straight up and down. Today I made an extension out of the other kickdown shaft, and it works great. Sorry no pic, I can get one tomorrow if you need it.

If you can a pic of the extension would be great. Thank you for your help. Anybody else have any input?

Ok I see what you did there. Looks like I will be going to the junk yard Monday. Thanks again Paul
