OK, here is mine Billy J.
CNC 572-13 365CC
Test Pressure 28" H2O
Bore Size 4.5"
Leakage .8 CFM

Intake Flow
LIFT CFM SWIRL
.100 68.2 720
.200 124.0 1210
.300 174.0 830
.400 236.4 350
.500 306.6 29
.600 357.2 302
.700 376.5 1950
.800 388 2360
Indy claims these heads will flow 395CFM at .700" and 405 at .800". I talked to Kenny at Indy about this, and he said to get them over 400 CFM you had to do blending of the seats and bowls and you had to thin the margin on the valves. He also said he doesn't recommend thinning the margins on street motors because it hurts the reliability. I use mine on the street so I left the valves alone to keep the reliability.

Here's my -1 flowed on 2 different benches One is Modern Cylinder Head (MCH) and Dwayne Porter (PRH). Jeff's the exhaust is with an extension, Dwayne's are not.

The motor made around 850 HP.

BTW, they were hand ported by Barton, All Jeff and Dwayne did was flow them and freshen them

hey BigCube..your numbers look alot like my cousin's 440-1 that were hand ported by Larry Meaux down in Abeville,La. they were 367@.800 but he has since gone to the 572-13 but didnt get a flow sheet when he bought them...next time we pull his 557Indy Maxx motor down we are going to have them flowed...we were trying to compare how much more air these 385cc heads flow over the 345cc heads..if it is worth the extra money...other than being able to run a bore over 4.5 i dont see what the advantage is...or should i say i dont think the difference is worth the 2100.00 cost between the -1's and -13's...

kenny at indy told me the biggest differnce between the two are the 13* valve angle.he also said they moved the valves around on the 572-13,s.thats why they use there own jessel rockers and stands.they are differnt from -1,s.he also said on a 4.5" bore or larger the 572-13,s will out perform the -1,s.laying the valves back he said really helps to unshroud them.

If you look close at my numbers one thing I'm impressed with is the low numbers. I don't run a .800 lift cam, more like .730"ish with lash. Mine @ 342 CC seem to hang with the best of them up to around .500 lift. There is a a lot to be said for a low maintenance combo with springs that will live all season.

if you look at my low lift numbers they are not great.mine really pick up around .500".talked to dwayne porter about them, and he said to use 1.7 rockers instead of 1.55.the faster i can get to higher lifts the more power the motor will make he said.i will be dynoing my 580 on saturday, with theese changes. i will post the results.

My Flow numbers are Identical to hilbillyconquest numbers, cause they are ported and flowed on the same bench.

Indy CNC 440-1's in a tube chassis car, and the switch to Indy's 572's were worth less than a tenth NO OTHER CHANGES.
Engine was a 572 inch Indy maxx block motor with 14:1 compression running a 4" toilet alky injected...

Big Cube..Mine are the same way..excellent in the midrange area.. if you look on my flow sheet on the top right cloumn i have scribbled in pencil how many cfm jump is between each .100 of lift.. my 300-600 range is excellent..my motor is still being assembled, but am using a .747/.765 roller cam in mine.. i figured minus the valve lash and pushrod deflection i should still open the valve around .720-.730ish myself.. i am hoping to make about 900hp with my 572 Indy Maxx..my compression is not quite where i wanted it but will do for now..13.87CR..heads had to be recut for the bigger valve springs so should be finishng the top half this comming weekend..

2.300 int 1.78 ex on top of 2.25 int 1.81 ex The exhaust didn't lose much at all with the 1.78 valve from 1.81
400 cfm was reached at .900 lift, so 396 is .800
