I must admit I'm curious as to what stroke and rod length you
use for that combo. would someone enlighten me?

i think it's one of those things that can't be talked about since i've already asked this qwestion & still no answer. the pistons must have real short skirts as when i'm checking my 512 most of the piston skirt hangs out the bottom of the bore. at 574 they must have a tappered ring compressor fitted underneath each bore to queeze the rings as they go back up!

Seems like all of the good Mopar shops are up there...somebody needs to move closer to here...I need a short block built and the P-I-T-A of shipping is probably going to force me to use someone local. Muscle Motors, Chenowith, and Best Machine (among others) have been great to deal with over the phone...but the logistics are a pain...

Hey Rapidus. I see you live in Haslet. I grew up on Ponder, just a few miles from you.

Yeah, been here about a year...transferred back from Amarillo. You know the Bein's? Used to race with them. They live in Ponder.
