For my project i'm gonna eventually end up with a serious custom spring set up, and thats gonna take money. Right now, to get the thing driving, i'm looking for a cheaper fix (that'll still perform okay). If i take the stock 6cyl leaf springs off my Challenger and go the re-arch/add a leaf route, will they be as HD as a hemi spring? As in, will the main leaf work, or did the HP cars have bigger main leafs? Looking under there they look pretty anemic to me.
I also want to add some serious height to the rear. Its sitting way too low now. Will putting that much arch (say stock T/A arch) to a normal spring cause any unforseen issues? No mega-shackles or air shocks for this car.
