I know this may never get answered correctly.....

How do these guys get the A body Hemi cars so low in the front and keep the tires stragith up and down???? Are they lengthening the upper arm or shortening the lowers???? I got my car as low as i can. but the tires start to tip in on the top.
Just how are they doing it???
I know they are supposed to have "stock" front end parts, that why i may never get a real answer to this

But look into drop spindles....Magnum Force and FatMan has them.

Look at the a-arms of one of them. They are smooth and powder coated...They cut them to get correct geometry, along with several other front end parts.. Also all parts have moly heim ends on them not quite factory specs

Definitely a lot of work in the front ends to get them right. The a arms or lower control arms in our cars aren't cut. A lot of builders approach this area differently. I spent a lot of time on my newest cuda getting everything perfect, which means touching every piece on the front end. Mike Also, don't know anyone using dropped spindles.

The frame rails have been moved. It isn't legal but NHRA tech can't really catch it since they don't have a stocker to compare it to.

I heard a good story about a racer who got super mad when someone in the pits parked a stock A body car near their race car. He was freaked out that a NHRA tech guy would start to take a close look and see how much stuff had been moved around.

I noticed some subtle fender bulges in the tops of one SS/A 68 Hemi Cuda, that can't hurt any

The bulges only helped after the wheelstand, so the tires don't beat the crap out of the inner fenders. Mike Don't know about widened rails???? Whatever you guys think. Mike

It's Super Stock, so all the front end stuff has to be "stock". x2 on what Mike said. Dad probably has a whole week tweaking on the front suspension when we are finishing one. Just making sure everything is perfect. As far as cutting the arms and moving the framerails???? Not legal, and never left our shop like that. And we've had a few record holders, so that stuff isn't necessary...

AHHH!! You got me Mike. If you check our stuff really close you will see the cars are about 2" narrower and 4" shorter. Don't you do that??
You might want to be careful what you say, I've been underneath the Bullet....I've seen your tricks...a case of Silver Bullets in Martin?????

Ours are 2.25" narrower and 4.25" shorter, I am awful thirsty

My dad who is one of the best fabricators around told me that Mike Roth was the best around. HMMMMMMMMMM........there are lots of ways to answer this question. But like Mike said you have to put your hands on everything and be very good in geometry.
