' Price is FIRM.
This is an original unmolested 383 hp engine from a 1971 challenger. Pulled many years ago and stored to use later. Later never arrived for it. It’s extra right now and if I can get what I have invested in it back I’ll sell it.
If you have a 71 mopar that came with the high performance 383 engine and it’s MIA, this is what you need.
Comes as seen with its original distributor and exhaust manifolds. This was a low mileage engine pulled from a wrecked car but it has seized from sitting all these years. I have not attempted to free it up as I planned on having rebuilt if I were to use. May free up with a good soaking of rings but I’ll leave that to new buyer.

HP manifolds and HP valve covers are worth $600+ Intake $100
So I guess the worse you are going to be hurt is $300 or so. Common to get rust in cylinder.
Edit: That one picture has two distributors in it. Bottom one is not original. But top looks like probably is.

I know someone that bought a 72 400 HP motor in same condition. hard to find 230 block. But it rotated. Paid $600 for it.
...had a cracked block. car was from back east
You are the one taking chances to find out why this 383-HP seized. Good luck with that ! My first move would be unbolting the flexplate and go from there.
