then might I suggest. call Blackbird performance BR3 Fling ryan Performance Arington performance
join another tech platform that discusses this type of options. there was a guy on here years ago that did a 5.7 and got it down into the low 9 second range running a carb(i think it was triple threat on here). i guess if you open your searches on google to other platforms there will be tons of info out there for you to read LX forums etc.
just my two cents of course.
Thank you Kiddart

Well, I do not need FB to sell anything...They like to report you to the IRS and I can't square with that...The same guy who registers his new $300M yacht in a foreign country to avoid taxes is going to tell the IRS on me? I have people tell me to call them before I sell anything and if & when I do decide to sell somthing, its usually gone before I even have time to list it.
I am just interested in anyone who bracket races one of these, boosted or NA.....It certainly sounds like it is the go to bracket guy motor based on what I have heard. And I did follow the red dart with the G3 in it, but he has not posted in a while. I like to see the progression of the builds, and the results.
The Blackbird guys have some proven NA combo's that really interest me for the price. The Big 3 Race guys are proponents of boosted G3's....So I am a little torn on which direction at the moment...Talked with Magnuson about their 2650 offerings and they are far more supportive of the cheppy lineup and really not doing anything more for the G3 at this time....Called Whipple, and they are less than helpful. So I am just shopping at the moment.
Also, my one major requirement is that the motor has to be plate mounted as I have no mounts in any of my cars. That is why I called Big 3 & Blackbird...Both offer builds using a motor plate, while others have no idea how to do that.
Initially, I thought I would purchase a Hellcrate, and then talked it over with FastManEFI Rich, and that & the Redeye both really require the use of the OEM style tuners and harness. Neither adapt well to an aftermarket system. So I canned that idea for now even though I think a Redeye engine would meet most of my goals.

LOTS of NA stuff they are doing, 600,700,800 HP engines all NA NA GEN 3 Yes they race their stuff

You know, I have worked on Volare RR's a couple of times, and there is no room under the hood for much of anything, and to see what you have crammed in one is very impressive...
Where did you exit the exhaust? Why are you only running one plug per cylinder?
So what does you build consist of, how many cubes, and what compression and fuel? What heads, and what have you done to them? What size turbos? And what trans & rear gears?

They fit quite well, even with the inner wheelhouses. Exhaust runs in the fender well just beyond the firewall and out the fenders on both sides. Some classes state the exhaust must go past the firewall. Stock hemi coils, on e85 or m1 run out of spark with boost around 12-1300hp. So I run 8 smart coils that are much better. 1 plug vs 2 plug makes the same power I’ve tested it back to back, with the only difference is firing both plugs takes about half the timing firing one plug takes. Stock block, good crank, good steel rods, i believe it comes out to being 368”. 11.5:1 on speedway e85. Stock 6.4 heads with comp springs. Custom BES cam. Turbos are cheap 7675 Ls series precision. 1.80 Reid case glide with a cut down van Dana 60 with 4.10s

Your making me think I should build a boosted G3....I love what you did there. And I agree with you, it fits in there nicely. And the glide keeps it simple....Some do the 400, some do the glide...I was not sure which was best....What is your 60ft?
The car I think its going in, has an engine bay similar to yours...

Josh King has run one for years in his green Duster. BES built the engine, he runs twin 76mm Precision Turbos, Mopar Aluminium block, Thitek heads, solid roller, T&D rockers, Visner billet intake, TH400 etc etc.
