Looks like the same circus that IHRA has been for years. Hopefully the stuff at Milan will get finished and the owners don't get stuck with the bill...But at this point I would not be surprised one bit. There last foray into track ownership did not go well and we lost tracks because of the circus for good. .

All the good people they hired have left, or been sent packing.

Maybe we'll hear Rinehart back on the mike. We miss him.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Yesterday they announced a 5 race Pro-AM series for this summer. Starts out at National Trail, goes to Milan, back to National Trail, then Dragway 42 and Galot. Pros race on Friday and Saturday, Sportsmen run on Wednesday and Thursday.

The races will be doubles for the Sportsman classes. They will race Weds/Thursday and Fri/Sat. I'm going to run the first couple and see how it goes. Hopefully 2026 brings a more 'working class' racer friendly schedule that I don't have to burn all my vacation for.

Makes me wonder if IHRA couldn't swing another trip back east or if MIR is trying not to get too dependent upon IHRA for another big event on their schedule...

Who knows..... Since they are going to Galot, seems like budds creek would be a natural place for a stop. I went to a Pro-am years ago at budds creek, and it was packed. Probably a $$$$ thing.
