69 1/2 block # 6170,70 340 # 6610,70 BB # 6020,71 # BB 6105. 340 metering plate # 41,front and rear, 69 1/2 plate # 6178 front,# 6180 rear 70 BB plate # 34 front,# 35 rear 71 BB plate # 35 both front and rear
Are you referring to metering plate or block on on hole size ? I have a Holley chart with all numbered metering plate sizes but some are not consistent with the actual hole size when compared to an original installed plate with the same number.

Wow. Wasn’t that long ago it seems. Other times it it seem like forever. I’ve come along way since then and bought and sold many carbs. After Bill passed, I helped his widow and nephew distribute all the carbs that belonged to other people. I eventually bought his few remaining carbs, parts and some tools and equipment he used. After buying so many carbs and examining them, you realize all the subtle changes in the six packs throughout the years. Now with Holley not making anymore six pack carbs or parts, I’ve had to start modifying metering blocks to work in other applications. I’ve also found many carbs that have flaws or incorrect size holes that got missed in quality control and still ran. I’ve found idle bleeds not drilled, holes not tapped and even accelerator pumps not working on brand new carbs.
But I think of Bill all the time. I use his Swiss Army knife that someone gave him to removing gaskets on almost ever carb I work on. I’ll be using it for quite awhile, I hope. I’ve got plenty to do. Lol. Yes, that used to be a pool table at the shop.
