I had posted a pic of the roof before but these are more detailed of the damage, the repair is to follow as I am waiting on the roof rail segment from AMD. at some point it looks like it got hit above the A pillar, there is very little rust at the lead seam. Most of the rust is in the inner structure along the drip rail flange and roof rail.

Cut out a section of the inner structure to be reinstalled and the entire roof rail segment that was mostly compromised by the rust. The drip rail flange had also rusted away but I will add use panel bond between the surfaces to make a solid structural seal.
I will be adding more pics and how it gets reconstructed in a week or two.

Back to the roof rail, the passenger A-pillar area has a previous repair, It had been welded in the glass channel and at an angle across the corner. The stories that can be asked about this cars history...
I did some massaging of that metal for a better shape requiring little filler. cleaned up what wasn't done well, added a few small patches along the drip rail, welded on the trim pins. I was able to sandblast and treat the backside of the roof along the seam since I cut out part of the structure, panel fit the roof rail and re-fit the interior structure I removed.

Nice work on the patches. I have similar work to do on the doors of my Charger. Two questions: How did all that gravel and what-not get behind that panel? Through the rust hole prior to previous repair? Moved to the pass side and tore into lower A-pillar. Found a little rot, much more solid than drivers side. CUT, BLAST,FAB,PREP,WELD,GRIND,SAND, DONE, NEXT.... Also, what is the copper colored spray you are using on the edges of these repairs?
