Hello, I have a 2007 Chrysler aspen 5.7 L hemi as far as I know the 2007 does not have variable valve timing VVT. My question is although I’ve changed the old MDS solenoids out my ECM one day will say I have no codes, but it does say it will not pass emissions and then the next time it will say the number seven solenoid error code P3449 is deactivated and something about the valve timing. What seems to be happening and I’m worried that maybe my ECM is bad because I never have one seen a check engine light. Either mine is either been removed or has burnt out. It does not display when simply turning the key to the on position anyways I’m looking for help. The truck really runs great other than it seems to shutter the RPMs move. I think it’s when it’s shifting in and out of the MDS I heard that I may be able to just unplugged the connectors because the 2007 does not have VVT. It shouldn’t affect it the things I have changed recently is all new MDS is all new plugs all new coil packs all new fuel injectors, new throttlebody, new crankshaft and camshaft sensors. I’m just hoping somebody has an answer because besides the hesitation everything else seems to run fairly good. It does have 197,000 but mileage really isn’t the issue I hope Anyways I would appreciate any help.

you can unplug the big connector behind the intake but then you will have codes for 4 open solenoid circuits instead of just one. It will run just fine though.

Did you get a tuner and turn of the MSD? Even with the solenoid's removed or blocked you will also have to turn other things off also.
