I'm looking for a dash cam that I can easily move between my motor home and a DD. Rear cam isn't necessary since I couldn't use it in the MH anyway. What a good brand, and what options are a must.
Thanks for your opinions.

Pricing will depend on what bells and whistles you want. Voice activated is nice, but more money. Parking mode and night time recording where high on my priority list, as was front and rear recording.
Dash Cams will pay for themselves when some idiot cause and accident and then claims you were at fault.

Thanks for the comments so ar. Project Farm just posted a review on lower cost dash cams on his YouTube channel today. Good timing! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLjGazIxjEA

As long as it doesnt record audio or I would be in jail You can turn the audio off. That's what I did.

Yes this guy is awesome! If he does a review on something I trust it. Great reviews, but is there something with just a remote camera for recording. I really don't understand the need for a screen to show what you are looking at? I'd like a camera I could mount in the grill or somewhere up front, that records. If I need to look at what happened, just pull the SD card and watch at home. Only reason for the recording, in my mind, is for after the fact accident resolution. If any of these could withstand being mounted outside, I'd do that, and not have to worry about running that ugly power cable across the windshield.

It records at all times while driving and when triggered when parked. I tucked the cable in the trim. The camera is behind the mirror and is not visible to me or those outside the car unless they look real close. There are ones that made for exterior mounting.
