A lot of disclaimer Bullš© is sprinkled all through that ad including title jumping. guy should try writing adult novels š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£ Title jumping? Says title in his name. Moving to another state or having a second home and. It getting a local title is a lot different than a title jump. Looks like a typical BaT ad to me. Seller says, is said to have, etc.

QC back then was pretty casual by today's standards, but wow, they HOSED that rt door jamb area ! Looks to me like a decent original car with a few repairs here & there. The dutchman panel touch-up is a curiosity.
I think the disclaimer-ish text is BaT's way of avoiding liability Like they dumped a gallon of house paint on that jamb.

Looks like a good, mostly original car. Ad says ( appraisal says also) it's got 95% of the original paint still on it. Interior, and engine compartment was restored. Along with new top. I really like it. And yes, it also says same owner for 45 years. Maybe he moved recently to AZ .

Like somebody said, maybe to skirt liability. I always thought it was a way to make their ads be distinct too. Stuff like āan oil change was performedā that they like to say on there is tossed around as a joke, but itās all free run. I know youāre supposed to go retitle your junk when you move, but I can totally see why somebody might retire or move to AZ for whatever reason and leave it on the old paper. I know my state charges a fee for an address change title to be issued and I never bothered to order them. Just redid the registration to the new address. Title seems to be a waste of money to do.

Thanks for the education, just seems to leave a lot of outs if there is a misrepresentation but maybe thats why the do it

I mightāve seen similar wording on some Hemmings ads. Possibly those of people using a consignment house.

BAT does the write up on every car and seller approves it. This ad did say the carb is a Thermoquad, so he showed pics of the AVS. Go to Arizona and talk to people, they come from all over the country to retire there.

That is what led me to believe it was a 3rd party (flipper) trying to dodge any issues as well as title jumping.
