This has to be one of the last few 340's made.

I have Hemi Engine 8G217545. All fresh 30 over. 1 15 68 cast date. 2/15/68 Assy date. 488 stroker kit. All mint parts. All new no used.

Vin - 0E 138456 I think that it originally came out of Texas.

Found carb to pan 340 3A544673, some numbers had to read. And 1969 340 short block, cast date 6/2/69, ?R163413. If your VIN is close I will recheck - some numbers hard to read. I will sell to owner of the matching numbers vehicle.

Looking for a 68 383 4bbl motor out of a road runner with the vin #RM23H8G266322.

The car was In Iowa (around dennison I think) when the owner at that time took the hemi and rear axle out of the 69 HEMI GTX (blue w/ black top), the engine and axle from my car was put into that GTX and sold to a professional hockey player in Lubbock, TX with the 383 and rear sure grip axle from my car. This was around the early/mid 70's I think. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!!!

In talking with the past owner he MIGHT still have that hemi block to that gtx if anyone knows any history of the car

I have a 383 block with following information:

9A281411 VIN on side pad
E 383 5 12 HP on top pad
3 10 69 casting date.

Block is not for general sale, but if this is your car, I would love for it to be reunited.

Block came out of the Finger Lakes region (NY) about 10 years ago. Had been in a garage for sometime before that. Has replacement pistons (L2315 .030). PM me if you have the car.

The block may have a June or July 1968 casting date. 9B100**1 (very low VIN)

The car has history and documentation from Georgia and Alabama (1980's) along with possible history from Washington.
