When I lived in upstate NY, we went a few times. It was a long drive in the Roadrunner. Had issues coming home twice, the Canadian people were very helpful. Not so much for the USA guys, especially the one that lived near me in a pink convertible. It was a great show, there was no assigned parking, so you had to walk around both days to see everything.
Planning on going back someday.

Is it true you have to take a shuttle to the show, and park off site?

I had a felony conviction in 1978, lets just say it is legal in Canada now. But you cannot even have had one DUI anymore if you want to get into Canada...

Do you need a passport to cross the border? I'll keep it out of politics.

Most parking is offsite - there is minimal parking on the streets around the grounds. And you don't have to take the shuttle - you can walk !!

This makes no sense at all. You were able to come for six years but suddenly you can't - because of a conviction in the '70's !!!

I was heading up with Hans Granberg, Forwardlook here and was stopped at the border. They told him he was free to go but I couldn't, since I was driving my truck and he was from Finland, we turned around and went to Woodward instead. It has to do with two people who were in charge with the same first three letters of their name...TRU... work

I always thought it was DUI you couldn't get into Canada, but weed charge you could. Weed charge was no entry US, not sure about DUI.

That didn't happen in Canada, so I should be good. Intent to deliver said weed is what got me excluded, a man needs to make money to buy Mopar parts... whistling
