I bought a mega block engine already built I was installing it when I noticed something in the water pump ports wondering if this is so kind of water restrictor ? It looks like a big wood screw

Probably left over from the casting process, use a die grinder and get rid of it.

I think you are right it was casting I tapped and pullled out with needle nose pliers thanks

Dang some type of screw in the core that makes the cooling passage.


Keep old mopars alive.
