Which carburetor would you use for a stock low compression 383 with a purple road runner cam, closed chambered heads, stock logs into duals. I have a eldelbrock 750 (1407) on there now, its all tuned in to start hot or cold with the factory choke heat pipe working on cold mornings. I have a buddy with a brand new demon Jr 625 cfm that he wants to trade me. Would it be worth it? any benefits? Do I need to purchase any special linkages to make it work on a mopar? Would you trade?

I think his smaller cfm carb would work better on your eng & would only need the Mopar throttle adapter which I think are ~$10 or so. One time I ran a 600 eddie on a daily driver work truck(w a 440) & it had plenty of power. You got an eddy 750 to work flawless(congrats to you)
