If no hemi cost them buyers, imagine what this misproportioned abortion will cost them? It’s an excuse to kill the brand.
I want my fair share

Makes me wonder if this is just to silence the 2-door crowd. We've been calling for a 2-door Charger for years. So now they make one that's so ugly, nobody's going to buy it. That way, they can go back to cranking out even uglier 4-doors and continue to tell us there's no market for 2-door cars anymore.
Funny how I see tons of 2-door Hondas, Kias, and BMW's and I live in the armpit of the universe!
I mean.... this Charger isn't terrible... I've seen worse. But, it's BORING. Dare I say Chrysler has not cranked out an exciting car in over 20 years. Even their fancier Challenger models are just lipstick on a pig. The Challenger is also a BORING car. There's no style to it. It looks like someone asked their 6-year-old and *AI to draw a car. I bet the retail on this new Charger ain't gonna be cheap either. So, shelling out $75,000 for a boring car? No thanks. There are options for something much more stylish at that price point. ***Don't forget AI

Pretty sharp car and I agree that an in person viewing is important.

Pretty car. From every angle. Going to look just as good in 4 doors. Twin turbo 500 hp 3L for Me. Gives a lot of hope that the next Challenger is going to be a knockout as well. Designers got everything right except for the "door dents"? That's a Charger signature, would like to have seen it on this car. ,

Typical Dodge; can't get the bumper cover paint to match the adjoining panel. These pictures are all of prototype and pre production test cars. Of course the paint isn't going to match. And the "rope" off the decklid is most likely there for a safety thing I would likely say. I used to be a test driver, driving prototype Hellcats, Dodge Darts, Jeep Renegades, Cherokee's,Durango's Charger's..etc, back in 2013. All those vehicles had mismatched paint, some had NO paint, different panels, interior pieces and so on. They were all PROTOTYPE mules! Engineering working all the bugs out, while making adjustments and improvements along the way.

I think it's a step in the right direction, But still needs some work. Definitely better than that 4 door thing they called a "Charger". I think it was a disgrace to the name! From what i read the (ev)performance is supposed to be up to the hellcat level. Have to wait and see, I'm sure they will have different versions/options. What ever happened to making both two and four door cars? If by some chance you need 4 doors it was an option. No options today! Most people today don't care about looks, Just look at all the 4 door suvs that look all the same on the roads. Current cars (vehicles) have three big problems in car design and it actually started in the mid to late '60's NHTSA, FMVSS, EPA and more. Pretty tough to meet ALL of the standards and make your vehicle look good. That's the reason early in this thread I pointed out the rollover standard B-PILLAR that is too expensive to get around. Then there's the crash testing, pedestrian safer front ends, etc., I have a friend and former Dodge engineer that worked on just the doors of the last Challengers and from the beginning of design and development they tried and tried and tried to make a Challenger without a B-pillar and failed because of cost and it would have looked ugly and awkward. When this Charger concept first showed without a B-pillar I was betting the B-pillar-less 2-door Charger would never happen and so far it looks like it won't again.
