Well, long time no hear. Glad things are working out. I moved from the NW IN 2015 and now living in Mesa. I was just down your way last month for the Duct Tape drags. It’s good to hear from you too again, you finally made the move to Masa permanently, I remember that you were traveling back and forth from the NW. Are you enjoying Arizona? Do you still have your Dart? Please let me know if you travel down to Tucson again, it will be great to meet up with you again. Nick

Well, I got the street rod bug. Sold the GTS several years ago. Now it’s early hemis. I have a 52 Dodge PUwith a 330 Hemi and a 66 Valiant that’s kinda a daily driver. Original paint/patina Signant.

Welcome back and congrats on the healthy report card!!
I really slowed down when it comes to being on the forum as well. I just needed a break from cars for a few years. Luckily I didn't sell any of what I had, just stopped working on them for a while.
Hope you have the opportunity to get back in the game!!
Thanks for the welcome reply I completely stopped, sold everything, bought a couple of Harley’s, then a Corvette, then a ZL1 Camaro, but couldn’t get the Mopar blood out of my head that I have had since I walked into the local Dodge dealer in 1969 and bought my B5 Blue Charger. I just bought a 69 Dart Swinger and I am looking forward to seeing what a 340 is all about.

I lived in Tucson from 1963 until 1970. My wife and I went to the NHRA race at Firebird last year. We drove to Tucson and up Mt. Lemmon as far as we could until finding it closed due to the fire when the Ponderosa Lodge burned. Then, for old times' sake, I went to the site of the old Tucson Dragway. I spent many Saturdays at that track when we still lived there. It was sad to see it in its current condition.

I didn’t get to Tucson until 2000 and I was told about the old drag strip so I never saw it. I did hear that there were a lot of locals that raced there and had a great time.

Looking forward to hearing more about what the 340 can do!
