Just confirmed with Ted Steven’s that they have been out of stock and discontinued for awhile now. The three choices we have now are: Finding ‘lost stock’ that an AMD forgot to post (not very likely) Find earlier version that was for sale by Golden Star type company (fit and finish is not really good with some of these). Sourcing a parts car, which is very exspensive due to most people don’t want to part out such cars when they are now collectible.
Someone finds a source that’s somewhat close, please post it here.
You could buy the full quarter panel, but at $700 cost and $150-$200 shipping makes for for an expensive patch panel. I was told by Stephens just this last weekend at Carlisle that I'm very lucky I got the last pair of 72 charger full quarters and amd will not be making them anymore ??? only 71s and you will have to weld in 72 marker light holes ..

bad news. In fact, it's worse than bad news. I checked with sources in Asia Europe, Australia and south America and found nothing. Then it happened, the one place in the whole world that says (supposably) in stock is . . . . . . . . . . . . Jim's Auto Parts. The most dishonest Mopar parts dealer in the History of all of creation. Be prepared for hidden charges like EXTRA over size shipping, prices hiked 'mysteriously' up before shipping and just added to your credit card without contacting you., insane shipping AND handling costs and extra credit card fees you didn't know even existed. I that rude lady is still alive, image worse than no customer service. Like a level of rudeness you were to have if you met with a Karen in a strip mall parking lot. Yup, worst case scenario. So your looking at over $300 or just the patch panel. I'm just going to buy a full quarter panel and cut it up. Still easily cheaper and better than dealing with Jim's parts.

if it's a fury road tribute car, why the need for a factory type patch panel ? grab some 20ga sheetmetal and have at it. Because years down the road, I could decide to make it a little nicer. It really depends on my budget and how many parts I can find over the years. The project could and probably will change as I get more parts in. Since I have no sheetmetal for the car currently, it could be a Mad Max car. If I get usable fenders, trunklid and hood it, I could make it into a drift track car. If I end up winning lotto, full resto into a hemi clone. My projects change as I accumulate parts and vehicles. Won’t be happening for a couple years, but it’s best to buy repro metal now before it all gets discontinued and hoard it away for later use. That’s what happened with the 1970 CUDA elastomeric rubber bumpers from AMD that were only available for 4 months before being discontinued. These costed me around $800-$900 for the pair. If I would have waited a til now, it would cost me more that double that price. Sometimes, hoarding parts and cars is a good thing.

migsBig,
The pic of the Charger with the AAR style hood in your post. Is someone making that style hood for Chargers or is that just a drawling? I have a hood custom made to look like an aar form a bulge hood looks factory top and bottom! if it wasn't so difficult, I would post Pics. I would send them to you or anyone that would like to see it and or post them?? its fully functional air grabber. I love how it turned out and would do it again!!!! needs a better paint job?
