I have a 1967 "C 440" engine block that had been sitting in a car port for many years, still standard bore. I have chased all the threads, cleaned out all the cob webs and bug nests. Build date is Feb 15, 1967. comes with a set of HP 915 heads I have owned for 40 years thinking I would use them on a my roadrunner, but after all this time I am just going to leave the 906 heads on it. $1800 obo See last photo for contact information. SOLD. 440 mild bracket or street/strip engine for sale. I had it in my Duster bracket race car for 3 seasons (1 season on heads) and ran a best of 11.17@118 at 4400' elevation. Ran great when pulled, I removed it for a bigger race engine in attempts to get low 10's out of the car. Engine is disassembled at this time as I was going to do rings/bearings/gaskets and put it in my Dart Swinger street car. I only made about 4 races a year so the short block has approx. 60 1/4 mile passes and the heads have approx. 20 passes on them. With all the parts and pieces I have for it, someone could set it up to be a hot street/strip engine or a good solid bracket engine. I have most everything needed to assemble it either way.

Specs on engine are: 1971 block bored .030 over with TRW 2355 flat top pistons (10.5 to 1 compression),
stock steel crank turned .010 under,
Edelbrock RPM heads w/84cc closed chambers,
Torker 2 RB intake(have both Holley 650dp gas and Holley 750 E-85 carbs if needed)
440 Source 1.6 roller rockers,
two different oil pans to choose from(one chrome 6qt and Milodon 8qt with custom diaper to clear steering on A-body),
2 cams with matching lifters one is hydraulic and one solid lifter,
new Accel electronic distributor,
new rings and rod bearings(had to use mains on different engine) and new HV oil pump
new valve covers
$3800 and price is negotiable depending on what parts a person wants.
