I just measured the mirrors on my 73 Challenger. I've owned the car since it was 6 mos. old, so I know the history on the car. It has the original doors & skins. Car came equipped with dual chrome sport mirrors, which I've replaced with painted sport mirrors, using the original screw hole mounts.
From the front leading edge of the door to the centerpoint of the front screw, both mirrors measure 15 3/4".
From the top edge of the door to the front screw centerpoint, the drivers side measures 7/8", and the passenger side measures 3/4".
Hi Allen, glad to see you here! You didn't post the measurement for the rear screw hole. Could you tell me if your mirrors have the same 3 1/8 inch spacing between the screw holes as gtxncuda reported on his 71? (should be the same mirrors, so I think it will match)
Thanks Tav

Hi Tav, yes I'll measure it when I get home from work. They are the 71-74 style rallye mirrors, which have a different spacing between screw holes vs. the 70 style with the shorter bases.

I just wanted to post some pics of how to measure, just to make sure we're all on the same page, comparing apples to apples...
Correct, center of screw to top bodyline. (3/4 inch in this picture)
My 15/16 measurement was done with the same method. My AAR is also Lemon Twist.
