I am thinking of installing the Rough Country 2 inch leveling struts on my 21 Ram 1500 , I already have air bags in the rear for towing . I know I need an alignment after the installation. I had the 2 inch leveling " biscuits " on my 08 1500 and needed ball joints at 50,000 miles is it because of the leveling kit or just normal wear? Anybody done the strut swap and what are your results ?

I have 2 Ram 1500 4x4's. I have the 2" spacers on one and the Bilstein 6100 struts on the other set at 2.8. The Bilsteins ride much better. I'll never go with the spacers again.

We've gotten close to 100k on ball joints on a couple of Dodge trucks of similar vintage. But we're in Ohio. You might consider moving.

Heck, I'm pushing 200k on my 92.
