Where can I send my clutch safety switch repaired. It is in nice shape and works, the problem is that the wire broke off at the mounting point. Thanks guys!

I fixed an e-body one myself. Depends on style you have.

Brewers will only sell/repair e-body clutch switches and you must return a repairable e-body switch before they will even send the new one out to you.

You can use the e-body one inplace of the 71-4 b-body switch if you have one I'm told.

I believe JS restorations was the one doing Brewers clutch switches. As long as the clock spring is good they will exchange with a restored unit.

1970 B-body uses a different style switch than E-body and is all by itself....not saying an e-body wouldn't work with some tweaking
This one pictured is a restored 1970 B-body switch.
The black cap takes the same green wire with bullet female end on A, B, and E-body,
You just have to have someone rivet like factory did or solder it in place.
Evans Wiring used to, and may still sell just the green wire for about 10 bucks plus shipping.
There are 3 tabs that hold the black bakelite cover .
It is best to carefully pry those a bit so the cap slides off, easier to work on.

Thanks for the replies. It is a 70 B body switch. The metal tab that rivets to the black body broke off. Other than that it worked great. Just need to get a new metal connector or find someone who does do that.

That spring & the pivot inside are usually worn or broken on units with some mileage.
So not a great deal by them if they don't replace that spring.

I believe JS Restorations is no longer in business.
Can anyone confirm this?
