Need measurements for the shifter hole as I only want to cut once and not have to weld any back in...
I do have the fiberglass tunnel extension that the trucks that came this way from the factory, had

If you have a fiberglass replacement 4 speed tunnel, you have a great template. Lay it in place, and use a marker very close around the outside of the glass tunnel, and set the glass piece aside. Determine how you are going to attach the glass to your floor, and add as much material as you will need for attachment onto the inside of the line on your floor and make another line. Cut the floor on the inside line. If you need to bend a flange to attach the glass to, you can cut a slot in the corners and bend each flange to what ever angle you need. Attach the fiberglass 4 speed tunnel to the extra material you left for attachment.

I dunno what you mean by "replacement" 4 speed tunnel, did someone repop them? I have the fiberglass tunnel out of the same truck that is donating the trans OEM factory ,as far as I know

Hey Don. Sorry I don't have any measurements and I sold my truck but here is a picture for reference.

Its pretty much a no brainer. The fiberglass will fit against the floor in pretty much one spot. Draw around it and that will give you a rough idea. From the factory that hole in the floor is quite large.

Notice the large squared top transmission tunnel in the picture from Moparmarks. If your truck has the smaller, more narrow rounded tunnel, you might have different results. twocents

Looks like a normal 2wd tunnel to me.

Not all 2wd trucks have the large tunnel. I just removed a small rounded tunnel from an 87 2wd to install a large tunnel (like the one in the pic) to make room for a NV4500. The OP needs to show a pic of his for proper reference.
JMHO.

Yup that's exactly what mine has.
