Line To Line is also in Campobello South Carolina (Southeast Line To Line Distributor) (864) 978- 0348 - Brian
I sent a set of 588 ci Big Block Chevy pistons in to him for my boat that block required excessive honing to clean up, including 1 sleeve on a really bad cylinder. He (Brian) received them late Thursday, called me Friday morning to go over carefully what I was looking for on an abradable coating, and had them on the way back to me at the end of the day! A couple of the other companies I called were 4 to 8 weeks out on turn around
These pistons were not in the best shape (salt water cooled offshore ocean boat, with compromised head gaskets) but when they came back, the abradable coating seems to really work well after the 3 or 4 time heat cycle break in period. This coating really saved these pistons as they were special order Venolia's (no longer in business) and lead time from other companies for new pistons were 6 months to a year to get made. I highly recommend them, and in the future will use their other coatings for any new pistons I use, plus, on my Hemi race engines, at time of freshen up, they will also be sent in from now on to be coated (they can also be repeatably recoated if pistons are still in good shape)
I have put many rode hard put away wet (literally) hours on this engine , usually 30 to 40 minute wide open throttle runs in a twin 588 ci (700 hp each) cigarette boat, and could not be more pleased with the outcome of the Line to Line coatings.
