I have a friend of mine is casually thinking about buying a hemi car.
Preferably a factory car. And prefers a 4 spd car as well

This one caught his eye.

Anyone happen to know the car

The car has been listed off and on for a few months now.
Which has him a little cautious .

Ugly wheels no matter how much they'e worth. Would rather have hubcaps.

Talk about sleeper if one would have hubcaps put back on. Pretty neat if it is original paint mostly.

I lived in San Leandro & Castro Valley during the time frame referred to in the ad, but don't recall that car.
There was a guy in SL that had a bunch of Mopar projects in a fenced yard behind a shop - bought a couple from him - but can't recall his name.
So, I'm no help, sorry.
Could be the car was hidden in a garage during that time.

Buddy of mines thats interested has done said the wheels would go away almost instantly.

He's not a fan of the super pale yellow though. ( the car looks like SS1 to me , which is almost white ) But Ive told him its a little hard to special order at 50 plus year old car. But this car is right in his budget range

I wish it were closer to LA, Or I might go take a look this weekend while in town for Spring Fling

Don't know anything about the car other than it has been for sale for a long time as was mentioned. I believe it was listed for $65k, though. It cracks me up that people ask BaT prices for cars on CL. Just get off your butt and put it on BaT, already.

Oh and BTW, Salinas isn't anywhere near Sacramento.

Thanks,

But the guy thats looking doesnt want a car to restore. He wants a solid driver now. Not a major project.
He's ok with a little bit of work. Just no restoration projects
The fact this one looked decent in pictures and runs and drives is his draw. And its 4 spd is plus
