Not sure what the secret sauce was - got a swap for my 70 Barracuda.

I know they used someone's calipers. Heard it was maybe tbird supercoupe or turbo coupe?

Last I checked with the new SSBC they said they had no idea.

I have SSBC front and rear circa 2005 on my 64 Sport Fury. My research back then identified front pads 1966 Mustang and rear 1977 Lincoln Versailles, Granada and Monarch. I purchased replacement pads a few years ago for these applications as spares. I haven't needed to change pads so please check my info.

this is the pic of the rear caliper for a 1996 ford thunderbird. i also looked at ssbc current offerings for mopar rear disc brakes and they arent much different that was offered before. i believe the rotors came from the thunderbird as well.

You are correct on both accounts of the parts used in the early SSBC rear wheel disc kits, you may need to redrill the Turbo Thunderchicken rotors to fit your bolt pattern depending on your application

You are correct 108mm/4.250 bolt center on the Turbo Chickenhawk rear rotors, one will possibly need to redrill a new bolt center pattern depending on what their axle flange application requires... here's the Thunderchicken Turbo rear rotors on my 1970 Charger's DANA 60 120mm/4.500 bolt center.... and sporting the Thunderchicken calipers mentioned above...

thanks Dayclona. up
how do they compare stopping wise, to the factory disc swap [10 1/2" or 11 3/4" newer style rotors] and using 11" drums in the rear ?
i need to do some brake work on my charger, and it has a scarebird type of disc [plate] conversion using the drum brake spindles on the front using GM calipers with unknown rotors.
the master cylinder needs replacing, as it seems to be the wrong size for the single diaphragm [stock] booster.
i'm even considering swapping over to manual brakes, but i need to get the new engine in it first.
