Well this is VERY sad, my Hometown track, the track didn't even get cold & its coming down there is still an 1/8 mile track in Houston but I hate it, the nearest 1/4 mile track is about 4.5 hours away

We always liked to go to the track in Baytown was closed 2 year's ago I think It just closed this past weekend.

We always liked to go to the track in Baytown was closed 2 year's ago I think It just closed this past weekend. I assumed it was,already. I would have made a trip if I had known. Read it was closing way back then, so assumed it was back then.

Sorry for your Loss. Our local track was slated to close in 2011 and then through a stroke of luck some Local guys were able to lease it from the Quarry that bought the land and it was open again in 2012. If what I have been told is true the Track is on some buffer property to the quarry so it will likely never be used by them.

and society wonders why there is an increase in street racing. not talking about idiots doing donutz in the middle of intersections or other dumazz stuntz filmed for social media....... even a new outlaw track or two would be great, but won't happen.
