I'm helping my buddy with his '63 1/2 Galaxie 500. He has a nice stroker motor ready to drop in but he has been too busy with work to finish the car so I'm helping out. Got it up on the lift and we're figuring out how to mount the Cal Tracs and what length the new 9 inch housing needs to be. Then we need to put a new EFI ready fuel system in place and convert to four wheel disc brakes. It is a street car, not a race car, but the engine makes 700 hp so things need to be beefed up a bit. The old drum brakes and open rear end were not going to be up to the task!

That's a fun build! I really like the early 60's Fords and the'63 Galaxie is at the top of that list.

can you share a little on the engine combo? 427 that has been stroked to 482 inches. Has Trick Flow heads and a tunnel wedge intake with dual throttle bodies. Fairly big street roller cam and pump gas compression made a little over 700 on the dyno. I think the cam might be too big for the street but we won't know until we try it.

Those exhaust manifolds are to flow pretty decent for that build.
