Hi all, I'm collecting parts for a 512 low deck. I'm wondering if a Milodon windage tray for a 4.25" stroke, would fit into a stock rear sump (truck) oil pan. I'm not sure if the depth of the tray would hit the shallow section of the oil pan? I have only built stock stroke engines, so this is new territory. Thanks for any help.

I cannot exactly answer your question for your exact pan, but using that milodon tray with the factory six pack/hemi pan, I’ve had to rework the tray higher up (tucked more up towards crankshaft) to fit in the pan. These were with 440 source 4.25” rotating assy’s.

What size rod journals on the crank, stock Mopar 2.375 or BB Chevy 2.200 and what rods are you using?
I've put a bunch of 4.250 stroker motors together with the BB Chevy rod journals with both I and H beam forged steel rods and use the stock Mopar windage trays with no problems. scope wrench up
Same thing on 4.300 and 4.320 stroke cranks with BB chevy rod size stroker cranks with forged steel rods up

It just so happens I have my pan and tray off right now so I'll go and measure it and get back to you shortly.

I have 4.300 stroke with 2.200 journals and h-beams and use the stock windage tray. You probably don't not need the extra deep one.

Thanks everyone! I'm using a 440 Source kit, so it has the 2.200" rod journals. I'll order up a stock stroke windage tray. Greatly appreciate the help.
