Hate em. But I own a real one, with gunslinger cocobolo grips.

I added a Hurst pistol grip shifter handle to a Winters Sidewinder(?) gated aftermarket shifter. It was fun until I sold the truck it was on. That guy had fun with it until he sold the truck. Haven't met the new owner yet.

I just bought a nice used Pistol Grip Quarter Stick. I don't necessarily like the way the Quarter Stick operates- I prefer a ratchet shifter. But I LOVE THE LOOK OF THE HURST PISTOL GRIP HANDLE AND LEVER. The B&M, TCI and other similar style shifters just don't have that heavy solid, beefy finger detent look to them.

There was a company called Duncan Engineering that sold a sifter that replaced the factory console shifter. It allowed the use of a handle without the need for a button. We put one on my son's E body Barracuda and it works great. The pistol grip handle is one that I had cast that is threaded and screws on.
