Some time back I compared ‘73 to ‘72 materials Per the picture.

I’d greatly prefer to use the improved ‘73 white mesh instead of the more failure prone burlap stuff.

Have no idea what it is, but it’s a whole lot more robust than burlap!

Q:
Does anyone know a source for it?

This was on a C body application…note the extra support added in ‘73 too (pointer).

The local fellow that does upholstery work for me uses that new looking burlap.
