You do realize that's always been Chrysler mantra, right??? laugh2

Bonuses were paid to management based on the number of vehicle that came off the line, even if you had to push them off the end of the production line. whistling

Chrysler wasn't the only one. Read up some time on Ford with the '67-'68 Mustang.

You would think a small affordable car that got great fuel mileage would be a strong seller to those with lower incomes. But history has proven those people are not concerned with the TOTAL price.......but the MONTHLY payment. Therefore rather than purchase the Corolla type efficient commuter one can spread an alternative massive total cost over 7 plus years and now get that AWD 4wd Turbo ect ect vehicle. Although with interest rates hikes, massive repossessions and way too many people with bad credit- more and more lending institutions are throttling down auto loans big time.

Keep old mopars alive.

One good thing, with trucks going EV. And the death of the V8. I'll never be tempted to visit a dealership to buy a new car.

Score ONE for you!

Yeah....I did that....back when the Moderators looked for any tiny reason to ban members. This place was like Catholic school with over-anxious Nuns wielding yardsticks to slap anyone they didn't like.

You could throw any badge on it, from any car maker at this point.
