Maybe I am overthinking this. But how far do the tips stick out of the rear valance? I am installing my system and they are out about 1 and 1/2 inch at the top. It looks like too much to me but have nothing to compare it to. Thanks guys.

Hard to find any online pictures that really show them up close, and then you don't know it's correct either. Backside of the ECS Challenger video. Not sure if this helps or not? https://youtu.be/731E0GoXa6k

IMO about an inch looks right. Not flush with the valance and not sticking out too far either.
I agree. I see so many that I think stick out way too far.

Six Pack RT SE, Have you tested those new Caltracs. What front and rear spring segments did you order. My Springs line up with the Exhaust tips also, so no tips on my Challenger eitther.

Yes, they have been tested and they work phenomenal. I don't remember for sure but a 22" front segment sticks in my head.

Working on an Old Hemi Prostock at present and just put the Caltracs in the Cuda. 21 inch front 35 inch back wanted to move the axle back to the middle of the wheel well to make the tire look centered. The wheel base when raced was 106.5 inches not 108 so now we gained back 1 inch to 107.5. Also went with the rear spring that goes between the Slider and the eye to lower the car just a little but if that is not suited when testing the Cuda will go with the normal way the rear spring going under the eye. Did you pick up much 60 foot, also running a rear sway bar and Wheelie bars off the axle location but will have the capabilty to run those old drop down old school wheelie bars. Lots more work to go on this car to make it look like the old 1972 Pro Stocck if was in 1972. Could of restored the Cuda it is a 1971 Hemi Cuda but thats not our way, would rather trailer it to the track then to a car show and a lot more fun running at 150 MPH than having it sit indoors looking pretty.

Yes. I am running a Anti-roll bar and wheelie bars.

are the arb bushings used flanged brass or bronze bushings ? if so, what thickness and length are they, and how are they holding up wear wise ? why did you choose them instead of poly or a nylon type ?

On both sides of the trunk pan there is an indentation with two holes. This was used for the hanger bracket and clamp which attached the muffler to the exhaust tip. You might be able to eyeball this point in your car and get an idea of position. You can also reference the pictures at ECS and Accurate Exhaust.
