I needed one last year for my 69 gtx with the carter and I found an edelbrock on the shelf of a local Autozone. Was thereabouts the same price as summit and was in my hand quicker. It was a fiber 3/8 style. Somebody had put a thin paper one and a thin metal “heat shield” on it and that stuff won’t cut it with todays gas. The vapor separator probably is what kept it running, but the fuel was boiling in the carb until I out that one on. The factory choke stat still worked without any adjustment.
I don’t have a part number handy, but it was a simple search that netted what I needed.
I want my fair share

What happened to the felpro ? Before i even put it on it started peel apart . What material??? picture? For heat insulation I prefer two thin compressible paper gaskets (normally grey in color) and a phenolic spacer. The thick paper/cardboard can lead to warped flanges

Yes However they work great as a heat insulator for the Factory Carters and Edelbrocks also I spray some silicone on both sides of the gasket before insulation - That way nothing sticks if you have to remove the carb for tuning They have a divided base gasket also
