This was, in fact, long overdue! I've actually owned this domain name for several years. So I finally got busy and made it happen. Thankfully GoDaddy makes building a site pretty simple. For those who are inclined to take a look at it, let me say right up front that it's a work in progress. So I'm happy to hear any constructive suggestions, critiques, ideas, that might improve the user experience. ![up up](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/thumbs_up.gif) Here she is! Enjoy! Nice work on the posters and site. My only negative comment ( you asked for them) would be to relocate your signature ( Lower R corner ![shruggy shruggy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shruggy.gif) ), maybe make it smaller, or a different color that would not be as noticeable. As a customer I find it objectionable to blatantly advertise for something I'm paying for, (think Edelbrock). With Go daddy's site building, how easy is it, how good is their SEO and other marketing help ? Also cost ? thanks ![beer beer](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/beer.gif)

Point taken on the signature. I did indeed ask for input! 👍 The only problem there would be the fact that reducing the signature in size will mean editing every image on the site and all the original files that will be used for product production as well. As for the nuts and bolts of building a site with them, first remember I’m an artist/graphic designer, and really not adept at the geeky side of web work. At my places of employment graphic designers made things “pretty” while there were other teams who were responsible for the back end of the internet work. As for the SEO, the tools provided generate some of it automatically, but you are able to go in and edit that as well as add to it. I felt it would work well in my case, but the reality of that remains to be seen. I also felt their marketing was probably more powerful than I fully utilized. As for cost, I was pleased, the site was up and running for around $300, Having a “store” makes things a bit more expensive of course. That $300 included my hosting cost for my domain. GoDaddy was the majority of that—an annual fee based on their monthly multiplied and discounted over a year. The domain will be a monthly fee. The more features you use to build a more complex site, the more expensive it gets. I suspect I’m really just scraping the surface of how powerful their application is to build a site, due of course to my own lack of experience. Oh, I'm editing this to clarify about the cost of using GoDaddy: for most of the work I was taking advantage of a "free trial" offer and that got most of the site designed (several hours over a weeks time), but once I added the Store, that was a "Premium" feature, and that accounted for what I spent. ![up up](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/thumbs_up.gif)

That's a nice website, man! I don't just mean the eye candy, but ease to navigate and a good display of your wares. No idea what you're working on, but it looks just as good as the rest of your work. Congratulations! Thank you, that’s very kind. Believe me, it’s the result of my OCD going into overdrive. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone back in and edited things or added things over and over again… and again. 🤣

The website looks awesome! As I have no knowledge of the subject, do you have to receive permission from the auto companies to make your artwork? Just curious as to how that works. Really, really nice work by the way. No, the car companies don’t have to give permission, but there can be issues with copyrighted photos, and/or logos. In the case of the art you see on my site, the Road Runner decal might be an issue should Warner Brothers decide to pursue it. But I suspect they have bigger fish to fry. It can be complicated when so much of this kind of stuff becomes public domain. But I am certainly not a copyright attorney.
